Horizon Europe is the biggest EU Research and Innovation programme ever with nearly €84 billion of funding available over 7 years (2020 to 2027) – in addition to the private investment that this money will attract. It promises more breakthroughs, discoveries and world-firsts by taking great ideas from the lab to the market.

Marta Calderaro | APRE
Curriculum
Marta Calderaro (F) joined APRE in 2013. Graduated in International Cooperation and Development Sciences, with background experience in international cooperation, she held a post-graduation master degree on European Project Management and SMEs internationalization processes. In APRE, she is specialised in international cooperation in research and innovation, with specific focus on Information and Communication Technologies. In this context, she has been working on several projects and carried out activities aimed at improving scientific international cooperation between Europe and Mediterranean Countries (ClusMED –FP7 project) and United States (PICASSO – H2020 project). Her experience encompasses project management (FETFX project coordinator – H2020), policy dialogue, communication and stakeholder engagement activities (EFFECT – H2020 project). Since 2015, Mrs. Calderaro is appointed as Horizon 2020 National Contact Point in Information and Communication Technologies (LEIT ICT) and Future and Emerging Technologies (FET) and collaborates in FP7 and H2020 projects dedicated to the NCPs Networks in EIC and ICT fields (Access2EIC, Idealist2020, Idealist2018, Idealist2014).
Martina De Sole | APRE
Curriculum
Martina De Sole (F) joined in APRE in 2001. She graduated in International Law, attended Post graduate course in European policies and has a second level master in Global Environmental Policies. She has been appointed by the Ministry of Research National Contact Point for the “Nanotechnologies and nano-sciences, new materials and new production processes” (NMP) since FP6. Since January 2012 she has been appointed Expert in the NMP Programme Committee. She has been involved in more than 20 European projects since FP5 ensuring correct execution of the project activities and preparing all necessary reports and support documents for the project coordinators. She has been coordinating different international cooperation and science diplomacy projects such as ERACAN+, Access2Canada, India Gate and the International Learning Network.
